About The Founder
Treva Bendy is the founder and CEO of The Training Lounge, LLC, a company built on more than 20 years of hands-on experience in instructional design, corporate training, and workforce development. Throughout her career, Treva worked with Fortune 500 companies in the energy and technology sectors, where she led high-level training initiatives, implemented digital learning systems, and built scalable instructional programs for global teams across diverse industries.
What makes Treva qualified to lead The Training Lounge, LLC is not only her technical expertise in instructional design, but her deep understanding of what professionals and educators face when navigating career transitions. She's been that educator unsure of her next step and walked alongside professionals laid off from roles they gave everything to. And Treva has supported entrepreneurs who were overwhelmed by the pressure to monetize their expertise with no clear path.
That’s why she created The Training Lounge, LLC: to provide a clear, strategic, and actionable pathway for educators, professionals, and entrepreneurs to build new careers or launch digital learning businesses with confidence. Treva knows how to take complex ideas and translate them into systems, frameworks, and training that move people forward—because she's done it for corporate teams, government contracts, and now for her own clients nationwide.
Her work is backed by both lived experience and technical expertise. Treva Bendy earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, grounding her approach in practical, results-driven knowledge. Beyond the accolades, her passion lies in nurturing the growth of aspiring instructional designers and entrepreneurs—reflecting her unwavering commitment to making learning both accessible and transformative.
